Theft from Motor Vehicle - Fletcher Way, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 5RZ.

Dear Resident

Between the 16th and the 17th of August 2025, between 21:00hrs and 10:00hrs, a theft from a vehicle occurred in Fletcher Way, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 5RZ.

The victim has reported that her vehicle was parked just over the driveway on Fletcher way. The victim has gone to her vehicle this morning and seen that the handles were out and her belongings were gone from her car. The vehicle is keyless entry.
The victim has reported that the vehicle was locked and there has been no damage caused.

Few items have been stolen from the vehicle, rough value will be between £4-5000.

Victim vehicle's details are as per below:

A Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, plate number EM24VOJ.

Tips to prevent vehicle crime:

Ensure you lock doors and shut windows/sunroof when leaving your vehicle unattended.

Always remove keys from the ignition when you are not with the vehicle

When parking, remember to set your immobiliser or alarm or use an approved steering lock or gear lever clamp.

Never leave valuables in your vehicle – not even in the glove box or boot – and keep all possessions out of sight – even coats, sunglasses and carrier bags.

Remove your satnav and holder and wipe away suction marks which could indicate that a satnav is stored in your vehicle.

Be aware of your keys. Don’t leave them lying around, visible or in pockets in changing rooms where they could be taken. Don’t leave them visible on a windowsill or near to your front door, where they could be “hooked” through the letterbox.

Store car ownership documents at home, not in your car.

Secure number plates with anti-theft screws.
